In 25 years when truly non partisan historians write about his presidency, it won't be very glowing. To be sure he had a few successes like all president do, but it was a failed presidency and the main thing he will be remembered for is the divisiveness it brought. If graded, probably a D or D+.
First and foremost the man's legacy will be sort of a "golden era" watershed for LGBT rights. An issue one assumes BO will not keep quiet about after leaving office at end of December.
Then you can say what you want but the man's administration managed to save and pull the US economy back from the brink of another Great Depression even with little to nil help from the opposition party.
His greatest legacy probably will be that the man accomplished so much (including seeing Obamacare passed, a democratic party dream since FDR) with republicans dogging his every step and or otherwise thwart. The sad and humiliating evidence of how the Republican Party has been reduced to teeth gashing and raving loons is the fact they've chosen His Orangeness as their nominee for POTUS. A decision almost sure to hand the election to the Clinton woman in November.
Obama - May 2016: I will put a man in the bathroom.
That's too funny!

I agree, Obama has been at least as bad as GWB. We've had a chain of failed Presidents since 1988, save the last 4 years of Clinton when he was forced to do the right things by Congress.
It's actually ironic how much Trump sounds eerily like Bill did back in 1996.
