Perhaps this woman is not attractive enough for you so in essence all women who are not attractive enough for you should wear a burka.

I agree with lily in that she seems to be mentally disturbed. From the looks of the mug shot she looks to be Somalian. This was in metro Atlanta and they have the 2nd highest amount of Somalian refugees after the Minneapolis area. Many Somali refugees suffered trauma and have mental health issues.
She's not mentally disturbed. She's stupid and brainwashed and she hates the US.

This obviously was a crazy woman who grabbed the first thing at hand to attack someone. That thing was the flag, or more specifically, the pole it was on. In all probability, if a rake or shovel was in her reach she would have grabbed one of those.
