There are about 185 million people in Pakistan. Most do not murder their children.

The tribal concept of honor killing is as old as mankind and most definitely predates Islam and was/is not limited to the Middle East.

There is no mention of honor killing in the Quran or the Hadiths and it is prohibited by Sharia Law.

I agree with liberals that "rape culture" is an inferior culture. However, as you point out, the US is far ahead some countries for treatment of women.

It really doesn't matter if it predates Islam or doesn't happen exclusively in the Middle East. The initial point was that the comparison of a country that does not have honor killings happen to one that does is illogical.
