Religion is like sports, everyone thinks their team is the best. Funny watching people worship man made gods as if they are real.

"Allah is not our god"

Well, for one the word "allah" means "god" in Arabic and that's the word Christians who speak Arabic use for the Christian god. For another Islam is an offshoot of Judaism just like Christianity. They come from the same root.

So yeah, Allah IS their god.

And if the Christian god is supposed to be so all powerful and benevolent, shouldn't he be protecting his own followers without them having to pack firearms in church?

It's like watching grown adults argue over who has the best imaginary friend.

Yeah, there was no shortage of them in church when I used to go either.

At least in some sports the opponents shake hands after the game's over.

I don't know, I'm a firm believer there are forces in the universe no mere mortal understands, that includes those who would have me believe they do.

His church but very un-Christlike message.

Could have easily stated something to the effect of love and all are welcome, even if they have come to a different understanding to God.

It's been a while since CD has had a thread where our immature friends can make their imaginary friend jokes towards Christians.

Get it out, I'm sure it's been pent up for a while.
