This type of stuff happens everyday, it's what you get when you mix an abundance of guns with mentally and morally deficient human beings. Sadly, you should expect this to continue, bullets don't discriminate.
I think of the labor, food, and expense of keeping them incarcerated for life. One bullet each would save some money that could be spent on the causes of urban violence.
