Shame on both Parties for mortgaging our children's future. How does Obama and the Rinos not take more heat for this is beyond me. Sadly I think we've reached the point where people are so irresponsible that if you asked them "would you still support entitlements now if u knew it meant complete financial collapse in 30 years" most would say yes. Thank you liberals for corrupting a generation.

It is the baby boomer way, sell out future generations for extravagance for themselves.

The love of money corrupts absolutely. They spend like drunken sailors and this election is a huge eye opener for a lot of issues, especially this one.

Not once have I heard Obama mention the debt or the deficit. Must be another thing he is blaming Congress for.

No no, this is probably still the fault of GWB, don't forget he is always to blame, even this far in. Hillary even blamed him for things the other day. Its nice to have a scapegoat.

Congress makes the budget, all the president can do is make recommendations.

Please don't try and obfuscate the blame GWB narrative with facts. Its right up there with presidents taking credit for gas prices and creating jobs. We need to reinforce the lie that these are all true.

Unfortunately both parties have lobby groups that fund the parties in exchange for paybacks on spending. What's sad to me is that it's not even a serious campaign issue. To me, this and security against an group with an ideology to want to kill us for outweigh any other issues.

Your attitude blaming one part of the other is the problem. It is well documented that the national debt has been generated under multiple presidents and multiple congresses on both sides of the aisle. Yet you blame one side of the aisle. Seriously, deal in fact. Be part of the solution or part of the problem. Blaming one side of the aisle makes you the problem.
