on this board that is sometimes very full of -- shall we say, heated discourse.

This is just beautiful and helps restore faith in humanity.

Nice to see. I've seen some pretty nasty stuff said on this forum (and other online locations) in the last day. Few if any of the commenters have the kahunas to be a cop, but they have no problems armchair quarterbacking and running off at the mouth.

I couldn't be a cop, and I was a firefighter for 20 years, I remember coming out of a particularly nasty fire, the normal covered with soot and crap, sat down and grabbed a water, one of our town cops was there. He asked me why I didn't become a cop, it's a lot cleaner! I replied that it was simple, it's safer fighting fire, you can predict fairly certainly what fire is going to do, you can never predict what a person will do. I just wouldn't have the nerve for it.

Different people... the ones dancing wouldn't consider hugging a cop, just as the ones hugging them wouldn't ever consider hurting a cop.

Now it's confirmed that the sniper was a single black man wanting to kill white people, and especially white cops.

Great video Northeastah
