such ignorance i see here. why are you depending on others for your own security? are you really willing to give up some of your freedoms for the promise of added security? if so then you deserve neither.

once you start depending on someone else for everything, you become a slave. as has been stated by myself and others many times, eternal vigilance is the price of freedom.

the job of the government is not the safety of the individual, but rather the safety of the whole country. individuals are responsible for their own safety. sorry if you feel different. sorry if you feel that you are owed anything.

I said yes in the poll -- but conditionally...the list, as it is currently compiled and used, should be replaced with a better system of compiling and vetting the names. It no longer will be simply a "no fly" list but a list to legitimately deprive someone of a constitutional right. I suspect it would have other uses beyond the firearms and no-fly uses and it should have a process for review and appeal. You can't put people on the list willy-nilly without a rigorous review.

Additionally, it has to be fool-proof so that once someone is rightfully on the list their name can't be missed. Using aliases or circumventing the list restrictions, by the subject or someone acting in their behalf, should be a felony with mandatory jail time.

There are all sorts of other people who are not permitted to own firearms who are not on the list so we need to figure out how to incorporate them into the firearms restriction process. The list only solves part of the problem.

Would you be in favor of US citizens who are on the no fly list to also wave their 4th amendment right to search and seizure without a warrant?

you'll never get any due process with the crooked one in office. will you get it with the other guy? maybe not, but at least there's a small shot you might.

The San Bernardino shooters were not on a watch list but would you have been in favor of them owning guns if that was true.

Why don't you ask the question another way.

How many are in favor of terrorists in the US being allowed to buy weapons?

They were on a watch list, then removed, and their neighbors were scared to turn them in because of your side....

And it did not matter if they were NOT allowed to own guns, there buddy bought them.

Oh, and then there is the bomb thing....don't worry about that....

Terrorists or suspects? Two completely different things.
