She wasn't the best, she wasn't the worst.

If you really want to wonk out spend some time on https://www.congress.gov

Most of the stuff she sponsored or lent her name to didn’t pass. But that's not why she was a senator. Everyone understood Hillary was in a holding pattern until the 2008 elections, but it's NY, no one minded.

Hillary never represented the people, she always look out for her own pocketbooks. All those new leaked emails released validated her private mail server was for personal businesses.

Is it that easy to win and stay in office here so long as you're a Democrat? Seems like her approval in the state is still quite high. Anytime I see a population so fond of Hillary Clinton, I know I'm surrounded by lunatics.

Are you kidding me with this or what?

The carpet bagger Clinton woman only came to New York because there was an open senate seat and our state is one of the few without residency requirements regarding such elected offices. Much like Bobby Kennedy the democratic party slipped HC into what they thought was a safe seat.

The woman only held one term, and won a second vowing all the while during that campaign she would remain for an other full term if re-elected. True to her lying and scheming nature soon as her POTUS run gained steam she quit thinking a return to the WH was all but assured. Well a little known Black man beat her to that post.....

Does it surprise you that she did so well in the primary and will carry NY in the general by such a large margin? Seems like she's still very popular here!

Well look that the demographic of NYS electorate who votes. White liberal/democrats, minorities and other groups that are right up HC's street.

Both NYS and NYC have some of the highest levels of voter apathy in the nation. Large numbers of eligible voters simply don't bother. This makes it very easy to win elections here, just look at that hot mess Bill de Blasio.

I agree with Bugsy Pal on this but I would have phrased it a little differently.

"Well, look at the demographic of NYS electorate who votes . . . A bunch of dumb a - - socialists . . . ."

Even though I'm a registered democrate. I did not vote for Hillary for Senate represting NYS. I just could not do it. I also do no like chuck Schumer either. Both are corporate neoliberal sellouts.
