Why should we take chances with most or all human lives, while we have to change to sustainable systems anyway?
and this will never go away. on one side we have those that think man is so powerful that he can ruin the climate(such self importance and arrogance on their part), so they do in fact want higher taxes, and more government regulations, and note that they only want to punish the developed countries like europe and the US, but countries like china and india are exempt. they also want to redistribute the wealth they steal from the rich countries, and redistribute to the poorer countries so they can develop their economies to compete with the richer countries.
on the other side we have those that think nothing is wrong, according to the big business interests, and hey want to keep doing things in the business as usual scenario.
in the end however we the people of the world are NOT getting the whole truth from either side. both sides give us just enough truth to constantly obfuscate what is truly going on. is the climate changing? yes it is, it has been for four billion years. can man have an effect on the climate? perhaps a small effect, but for those that think we can have this huge effect on the climate are truly arrogant and self important. man is an inconsequential being in the grand scheme of things.

We had climate-experts before this ie in NASA, they get paid with or without these problems.
Yes natural variatons but we cant have it with a globe full of people.
New is stored coal for millions of years, burned up in a short time so CO2-levels gets up.
CO2 are stored in "coal-sinks" but when those get filled and warmed up, it will reverse in a chain so CO2 gets out again and it will be warmer etc.
Then stored Methane will get out, that is 25 time worse than CO2 and there is a lot.
We can end up in a loop as cant be stopped, so almost all life will die out, it has happened before.
