At the end of the day, she perceives Duke as her only guaranteed ace in the hole. When her campaign has stumbled, it always turns to Duke. She has pretty much bet everything on him.....
I don't think it will work, because so many people don't even remember who he is. David Duke was a news figure 25 years ago.
It just doesn't seem like much to pin your campaign on.
