The only hands that fiddle are prosecutors who don't prosecute police officers who do harmful acts in uniform. If they had over the last decade you would not have these riots throughout the country. You wouldnt have the layers of mistrust and anger. You would also have better relations between cops and their communities. Cops would be safer and happier too.
In most cases the evidence doesn't match what Blacks say happened.
Should we disregard evidence and prosecute cops just to make Blacks feel good ?
( turns out the Black mantra of " hands up, don't shoot" was based on lies given by Blacks )
I don't see anything in the post you replied to that advocates the President to overrule the local government. Why do you suggest that the POTUS would choose to roll in to the city to 'mow down rioters' ?

There are some posters to this tread who advocate for rolling tanks on the street and how the Federal Government should use whatever force is necessary to stop the "rebellion". Some seem to percieve this is how Trump will demonstrate leadership and put an end to riots.
Seems some posting here do not comprehend the relationship , city, state and Fed.
The Governor declared a State of Emergency and asked for the National Guard to protect infrastructure to free up local and state LE to deal with the people. Nothing more or less.
The city has, thus far, chosen not to impose a curfew.
Animals, out of control creatures. Vicious, hate filled, mob. Anyone who supports these rioters is an awful human being and has no regard for others. Looting, violence, destruction of property would never happen if the authorities didn't allow it. We truly have terrible leadership in this country.
So the video so far revealed the deceased was not holding a gun to any police officer. What else will we learn. Btw who changed the title of this thread from what it was yesterday ?

PCP was found in the car and is expected to be in his system. He did not respond to officers commands and was towards the end reaching into the car.
Still, though PCP can kill you and others while you drive around high, that was still bad.
Should have tasered not shot dead.
Women are 3x more likely to shoot you dead than a guy. They have to rethink this situation.
Remember Rodney King? He was about to be killed by gun by officer Melonie Springer before Stacey Coon arrived and took over. Rodney also was high on PCP. Never a way to present yourself in public.
LAPD in honor of that still have vehicles now and then that not only say, "to protect and serve", but also, "We Treat You Like a King".
This has gone completely out of control. Now they are just proving the stereotypes that they hate. What good is this going to do, other than drive the wedge further and further apart ?

Violent urban crime peaked in the 80's- early 90's. I have no recollection of Reagsn or Bush 1 being blamed.
What he and Guilliani fail to acknowledge is that the peak of violent urban crime throughout the 80's- early 90's substantially declined by the mid 90's, ALL OVER THE US. There are no definitive conclusions as to why violent crime substantially declined.
DK what Trump meant when he said " working with city and states". Federal $ to hire, train and equipment more local LE in urban areas?
Stop and Frisk implies gun control laws are in place and LE has the right to stop and frisk anyone they reasonably believe may possess a gun without proper permitting.
