I saw this tweet from Ted Cruz and wondered what it's about...

Just another check mark on Obama's goal of destroying America. Nothing new here, move along.

Obama's time is short looking forward to see his final executive orders and pardons ... people in America will not be silenced or deprived of freedom of speech we will just start printing paper again ... newspapers, magazines will be popular again Obama will set US back to the stone age of information gathering and distribution.
But think of it the jobs that will be recreated...screw the internet, the Chinese and the Ruskies!

Actually, the Obama administration already ceded control of the Internet. There's no going back.

Official turnover date is Oct 1. That's why Cruz is still trying to put a hold on the transfer.

Write/contact your Congressman...

Obama wants to globalize America. He has told us so. The internet is one thing and accepting the UN resolution on small arms trade is another which will destroy the tradition of firearm ownership for millions of law abiding citizens.

America is an amazing country the likes of which has never been seen. The freedoms that we have are exceptional and shine like a beacon to oppressed people all over the world. Obama has never been proud of America and he has been making apologies and trying to change it since he took office.

It would be amazing to have a President that actually loves America and will be proud to protect what it stands for.

I wonder if Obama had another 4 years if he would disband local police departments due to their racist ways and bring in the UN to police us?

Giving control of the internet to the UN will be leading us down the path to North Korea in censorship and first amendment rights violations.
Obama did tell us he was going to fundamentally change America.

Amazing how this thing has been so quiet. You would think something like this would be the top news for at least a day or two.

Ted Cruz still has a big political future ahead of him. With him leading the charge on this issue and doing things like that 24hr+ filibuster, he really is something different. This is coming from a guy who didn't choose him to be the Republican nominee.

And if the UN adds a tax that gets passed on to consumers, you'll hear people screaming about big corporations raising the price of Internet access.

My bet is that the UN forces a tax on rich companies to provide more free internet in poor countries.
