Seventy-one percent of police who've been shot and killed this year weren't murdered by black men with cornrows or hoodies. They weren't gunned down by Latino gang members in low-rider drive-bys. Those stereotypes would be too convenient. Instead, 71% of police who've been shot and killed so far in 2016 have been killed by good old-fashioned white men.
You want us to start a protest and block traffic while we scream incoherently in to bullhorns?
You want us to go break windows and loot stores, set cars on fire, pull innocent people from their vehicles and beat them to within an inch of their life?
You want us to turn our back on the American flag at football games?
You want us to cause disruption on college campuses?
You want us to attack anyone who doesn't support who we think they should support for President?
What, exactly, would you like us to do? Pout? Cry? Gnash our teeth?
Maybe it's because we realize that a good majority of those are either dead themselves or in prison where they belong. We don't make excuses if some white person threatens a cop, comes after a cop, points a weapon at a cop, shoots a cop, whatever. We don't pretend that they were just turning their lives around and off to community college in the fall. We hold them accountable for their deeds, and whatever happens to them after they kill a cop, that's their own damn fault.

I'm sure you think you're making a point, mtl1, but I firmly disagree with its implications -- which is that black and other non white citizens don't deserve fair and equal protection under the law.
mtl1's point is that it's a waste of time to compare the raw totals of a group that is 80% of the population versus one that is 13%. In order to accurately compare them, they would need to be standardized.
It's possible that whites might kill more cops in total than blacks, but still be less likely to kill cops as a group than blacks due to the vast differences in proportion of the population.

No we get it. You don't get it or you do and think we are easily fooled. No one disputes there is a percentage of underclass whites for whatever reasons. What conservatives don't do unlike liberals is point to another group with better outcomes like Jewish or E. Asians and call them "racist" and demand equal or better outcomes.
You can't call those groups racist because they aren't racist towards whites.
However, to claim that whites don't whine about better outcomes by those groups or don't have some serious anxiety (and jealousy) about their successes is a load of bull and you know it. A helluva LOT of whites are upset about it and anyone with an ear to the street has heard it aplenty.
