Trump son-in-law Kushner reportedly settling Christie score in transition

Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law, reportedly is shaping the new administration.

<<Christie and his aides aren’t the only ones who have lost position in the abrupt reshuffling. Former congressman Mike Rogers, an experienced foreign policy hand and former House Intelligence Committee chairman who had been coordinating national security efforts for the transition team, suddenly resigned Tuesday in what sources described to NBC News as a “Stalin-esque purge.” (Rogers said he hoped to continue to “provide advice and counsel as needed to the incoming Trump administration.”) Two people close to the transition told Bloomberg that Rogers was fired at the behest of Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband, due to the enduring animosity between Kushner and Christie. (As U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Christie had prosecuted and jailed Kushner’s father for tax fraud and witness tampering, among other charges.)

.... Already, informal inquiries have been made to give top security clearance to Trump’s three eldest children, plus Kushner, despite longstanding federal law prohibiting the president from hiring immediate family to work in the federal government.>>

Will Paul Ryan eventually feel the wrath of the Trumps, even though just re-elected House Speaker?

<<According to an internal Breitbart e-mail from December of last year, which was obtained by The Hill, Bannon wrote that the “long game is [Ryan] gone by spring.”>>

What do you think they are doing? They said they were going to drain the swamp. Career politicians need to get out of there. Why do you think most, even Republicans, were in panic mode?

Plus don't believe the lamestream media, Trump did not ask for security clearance for his kids.

I believe Jared is the only one getting clearance. He is an excellent advisor; he will go far in politics, should he choose to do so.

Dems need to understand that Trump can fill his cabinet with whomever he chooses. And as far as the speed with which he's doing so, Old Bubba Clinton didn't have his cabinet in place until 7 weeks after the election.

Lord, the media needs to sit down and shut up. It's very difficult to hear what they're saying because 99% of it is lies and innuendo.

Hillary lost the election. You were 100% wrong about it. Time to drop the nonsense.

Well I'd like to see Ryan go, but I don't like the Kushner and Christie thing if true. I never liked the whole Kushner aspect all together.

I think it's very likely had Hillary won, she might have stuck Chelsea's husband in some political position. His father also went to prison.

What is it with these people? I hope Jared doesn't turn out to be corrupt like his daddy was. It must really burn to have been so close to Christie during the campaign, knowing he's the one who put his daddy away.

Kushner's dad was one messed up conniver, wonder
if the apple fell far from that tree?

I also believe that after his marriage to Ivanka, he has
been involved in helping Trump amass more wealth and
probably yields a lot of power in the Trump family.
No doubt he will be getting top security clearance ,
he and Ivanka better have a rock solid marriage because
if not things could quickly go south.

Mike Rogers is too much like McCain. It is nice to see him out.
