U.S. Urged Ecuador to Act Against WikiLeaks Leader Assange - NBC News

The Obama Administration put pressure on Ecuador to silence Wikileaks.

So much for Obama's claim that sunlight is the best disinfectant for corruption...

Nope, this election isn't rigged at all. On the other hand, based on history, Assange is really lucky to be alive. The Clinton's people couldn't get to him in the embassy.

Once again, the board's liberals have no comment. They support corruption and like living in a banana republic.

I would think one of his friends could get internet service to him by standing close to the embassy with a mobile hotspot with good range. He could then piggyback off of it.

Marco Rubio, who is running to retain his Florida Senate seat after losing the Republican presidential primary to Donald Trump, urged members of his party not to seek to capitalize on emails stolen by Russian spies.
Here's hoping little Marco gets voted out.

The action came after U.S. officials conveyed their conclusion that Assange is a willing participant in a Russian intelligence operation to undermine the U.S. presidential election, NBC News has learned. U.S. intelligence officials believe Assange knows he is getting the information from Russian intelligence, though they do not believe he is involved in helping plan the hacking, officials told NBC.

"The general view is he is a willing participant in the Russian scheme but not an active plotter in it. They just realized they could use him," said a senior intelligence official.
So our government should not get involved with a state sponsored hacking operation against our sovereignty?

You guys okay with this, huh?

How... Patriotic.

Tell your failed President's SOS not to run the State Department from a server in her bathroom and the Russians or anyone else won't be able to hack it so easily.
