I used to live near a section of Newark NJ that was an immigrant enclave for well over a century. I forget the order but their were at one time or another heavy concentrations of Irish, German, Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian, Ecuadorean immigrants and probably a few more groups I'm forgetting.
Just as you've said the previous groups who'd established themselves would fear/loathe the newcomers.
And as you've said, it was nonsense then and is nonsense now.
I used to enjoy what seemed like taking a quick trip out of the country by driving just a few miles.

You are comparing nationalities to an ideology; Islam.

And I'm guessing the ones who would label it "wholesale offshoring" would be the ones not profiting from it, when they do they just label it a 'good business decision'.
Sounds to me the alleged 'non-globalists' like Trump are fine with any trade when they profit and not so much when they don't, as in Trump having no issues making money using cheap Chinese labor while vilifying Ford for doing the same with cheap Mexican labor, many would label that hypocrisy.

Well whatever Hillary and Obama are globalist. A business person has to do what they have to do under a current system and policies. That doesn't preclude them from wanting to change the system and policies.

You grew up in a Muslim country, correct?
If so, how did you manage to survive to emigrate if as you've alleged many times in these forums every Muslim faces the world thinking it their duty and having the intent to slay every infidel they come across?
I have to ask because I went to grammar school in the '50s-'60s with two Muslim brothers and worked with a Muslim woman for about a year in the '00s and oddly enough none of them ever attempted to kill me or even tell me I should believe what they believed.

You're doing nothing but making excuses for the man you support for doing the same stuff others do.
As I've said:
Interviewer: What do you think about Trump using cheap Chinese labor?
Trump supporter: That's a good business decision!
Interviewer: What about Ford using cheap Mexican labor?
Sounds like you were one of the losers from NAFTA, while I was a winner.
So you admit there were losers to MFTA. I think everyone lost something whether or not economically, maybe some profited.
