In inner cities in the UK, there are lots of CCTV Cameras, however the US also now has a lot, and if you link these cameras to the Police Databases, Intelligence Service Databases and other Government and Financial Databases, then there is not too much privacy left.

OMG you have a drivers licenses a social and maybe a passport for those who leave their back yards-- and you really want to know who has every scoop on you?? have a credit card-- ?? i can tell you they know your every move.

Absolutely, besides look at the Boston Marathon Bombers, they were on what 17-18 cameras that we know about, how many more? Who knows.

Yeah because they'll quit spying on us when the crime rate goes down?

More the case that they'll contrive new laws to keep the crime rate up.

"Crime rates" would probably be much lower in the US if there weren't so many more things considered a crime here.
