When he had his television shows and made movie appearances I was not a fan of Donald Trump, but the media was. He is most likely the first modern day celebrity billionaire that the media loved. Now, the media is trying to destroy him and distance themselves because of his politics.

He is demonized for comments he makes about anything. Either he is a racist, sexists or an out of control loon. Yet the current presidency and a stout supporter of Hillary Clinton invite rapper JayZ into the white house and other events and he is considered an American icon. Just look up his iconic lyrics. But Trump... "He's got 99 problems but the media is the main one"

The media knew exactly what they were doing. They knew Trump spouted off and said ridiculous things all the time, but they chose to ignore it hoping Trump would get the nomination so they could then carve him up and get their elitist buddy Hillary in the WH.

They knew Hillary could never win against a traditional politician, so they served up atrump and now are tearing him apart.

I have never liked Trump, and now we are going to have this evil witch as POTUS.

calm down PEDRO. Trump created Trump, not the media. Media and Dana Perino wanted Jethro Bush.

With or without the media, he would have been a wealthy man. The media however loved his lavish lifestyle and his demeanor. They made a celebrity out of him and rode that train until his politics disagreed with theirs.

Trump destroyed Trump. No one else. Leave it to Republicans to have Hilary running and they nominate an even bigger bozo. Then they play the media card because they can't accept The fact they nominated a bigger idiot.

This election should of been a slam dunk for Republicans. Instead you'll lose by considerable margins perhaps even a landslide. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Trump could have played business all the way... He failed at what supposedly does best - I do not get a business man talking like the godfather in 40's

Plus the army of internet warriors who talk about him 24/7 has a lot to do with how popular he is.
