No "by and with", no "shall have".

The majority of Americans sent Republicans to DC to stop Obama.

What you're all hot and bothered about is not being able to replace Scalia with another Sotomayor or Kegan so that the true majority of Americans will be forced to live under an unelected leftist dictatorship pretending to be the Court prescribed by the Constitution.

Unfortunately, this election the Presidency will remain in Democratic hands and they have a good shot of taking the Senate. Time to seat Obama's man just from political self interest.

Losing party?

Didn't Republicans take control of the Senate in 2015?

I am an indie who voted GOP in six of the nine POTUS elections I have been eligible for . I am not hot and bothered by anything except mindless partisanship ,perfectly exemplified by assuming just because I disagree with a person, I must also be a mindless partisan hack from the other end of the political spectrum , which short circuits the thinking parts of every persons brain and affects sensible people by the actions of the mindless partisans .

So if HC wins the POTUS and the Dems take the Senate you will accept that the majority of Americans have voted to enable HRC and liberalism ?

Did they win the POTUS in 08 or 12 ? We are talking in terms of being the opposing party to the head of the government , and working with that branch of government .

Ideally a liberal justice retires and the next potus appoints two, one liberal and one conservative and the moderate balance of the court is maintained and we can put this mess behind us.
