I'd guess it has more to do with being wealthy, being ushered past white people to get into clubs and restaurants and looking out into the crowd at his concert and seeing white faces cheering him.

Of course he doesn't feel connected. Minus the general issues of poor central leadership and vague sense of direction that plagues the effectiveness of BLM, BLM is for poor black people. Lil Wayne is, as he says, a rich mother****er. BLM isn't for him, even if it claims to be.
