Wonder how he will get attacked by BLM and the liberal left for these comments.
Also as mentioned in article apparently he has also mentioned that he thought there was no such thing as racism.

___

"And when asked if he felt drawn to the movement, he answers: "I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me."

The rapper goes on to explain, “I’m a young black rich mother****er. If that don’t let you know that America understand.""

Between long gulps of his daily cups of Lean, I doubt that he's connected to much of anything....including himself.

I'd guess it has more to do with being wealthy, being ushered past white people to get into clubs and restaurants and looking out into the crowd at his concert and seeing white faces cheering him.

Of course he doesn't feel connected. Minus the general issues of poor central leadership and vague sense of direction that plagues the effectiveness of BLM, BLM is for poor black people. Lil Wayne is, as he says, a rich mother****er. BLM isn't for him, even if it claims to be.

Lil Wayne Leads 'Black Lives Matter' Chant at Lil Weezyana Festival | Billboard

"Lil Wayne threw his annual homecoming show in New Orleans, La. for Lil Weezyana Festival at Champions Square on Saturday, where he lead the crowd in a "Black Lives Matter" chant."

Seems he does whatever it takes to get himself some headlines.
