This election is important because it's the first time in history where millennials didn't get their way. Most were too young to vote before the 2008 election. They just don't know how to handle when they don't get their way.

And this is coming from someone who is a millennial.

But all of that being said, I wonder how the other side would have reacted if Hillary would have won? I'd imagine that people would be very angry, but I don't know if there would be mass protests in the streets.
Yes , I live in regressive Los Angeles and the Anti Trump Mayor says HE feels like protesting too! And he's proud of the protests.
Of course he threw in some bs about "Love" blah blah.

People being violent and holding signs that say F*ck Trump is not my definition of love.

I guess he just can't get over the fact that his gal lost.

This is a distraction and waste. He should be focusing on lowering crime, growing business and jobs.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me", remember that?

These protests are getting very violent, and it won't be tolerated for too much longer. I am hoping due to the fact that many today, and especially the younger people, their short attention spans will move onto something else.

I don't care who voted for Clinton and who voted for Trump.

What I do care about is living under Martial Law.

I live in LA, in 1992 due to the Rodney King riots we lived under ML for 5 days. Great fun! Had to be in your house by dusk or face arrest, saw tanks going down Santa Monica Blvd. Horrible time, most in this country have never experienced. They won't like it.

The ironic thing is if that happens these protesters will really have something to worry about. When they're told you can't leave your house or face arrest.

I saw them on the news, while some are angry and want to protest. Many are just out there laughing and causing chaos for the sake of chaos. I love all the selfies to, if you're out there marching than march, don't stare into your phone taking pictures of yourself so you can tell everyone on FB you were there.

I'm personally thrilled to see these fools protesting a free and fair election! I hope no innocent people are injured, but the longer these fools continue their hissy fit, the more decent, hard working Americans, of which the vast majority are, will be more and more turned off by them and their behavior.

Millennials were never told the word NO!

But you have to place blame where the blame is due...where were the teachers or parents to tell these kids no and set them straight?? They are ADULTS and do not understand anything...such a failure on the parts of the parents and teachers of these "children"

More than a few on the left are indeed going off the deep end/unhinged. Like a bunch of 2 year olds throwing a temper-tantrum. Some of the left/hil cheerleaders need to grow up a bit and put on their big boy pants and learn to deal and accept reality, what is. If one can't handle democracy/the results of an election, plenty other countries to move to.

Non-Sequitur. Since I'm assuming you worked/paid into SS and medicare, it's not a "freebie".

And if one wasn't smart and disciplined enough to put some money away over their working years for their later years and not have a nest egg, ie "big fat portfolio", that was one's decision and they have to learn to live within their means of what they saved/didn't save, not have the gov/other people provide for them because of their poor planning and decision making.
