Deficits never mattered. Just another talking point.

The Tea Party has practically given up trying to get people to listen to common sense. Common sense in government takes away power.

Deficits only matter when the black guy with the funny name runs them up.

The original Tea Party I supported was spouting libertarian principles with Ron Paul at their head. I dropped my support when I saw Sarah Palin giving a speech for the "Tea" Party. That was in 2009.

Tell that to Greece.

The reason it "doesn't matter" to the US is because the global position our currency holds. One day, if other countries get their way and displace the dollar as the staple trading currency, you'll be singing a different tune.

If fiat corrency was this actual fairytale it's perceived to be, every country around the globe could print themselves and citizens into prosperity.

Answer this, why doesn't India, Brazil or Venezuela print enough money to get rid of all of their slums and put those people in brand new apartment high rises?

Where is the tea party screaming about Trumps proposed lack of action on the debt or deficit? What is the answer to the shockingly coincidental timing of suddenly not caring?
