In the Rust Belt we are mad at clueless job-killing policies. Like minimum wage increases and the promotion of unions who ask for "too much." We are sick of dumbed-down schools and their pathetic pedagogies. We are sick of excuses made for criminals. We are sick of tax breaks and bailouts for the rich. We are sick of race-baiting. Is that enough?

Agree. The Democrats have turned their backs on ordinary working people. This started 22 years ago with the passage of NAFTA. Yes, the Republicans supported it too, but the Democrats should have fought it tooth and nail (along with all other free trade agreements).

And that's why you have a candidate who both the Republicans and Democrats opposed. The point, especially from many in the Rust Belt, was that neither party addressed their concerns and both parties were just two sides from the same coin.

Rather start a social revolution where people choose not to have a abortion even though it is legal. Or you could play dirty like the democrats do with guns and tobacco and impose a special tax on abortions....

Like I said, using your 1st amendment rights sway people to your side, by free choice make them believe to make the right choice.

Until you change people's minds where they freely accept or agree, you will make them feel like you are forcing yourself on them and they will reject you for it

As far as I can tell, Hillary Clinton did not make a single stump speech about closing down coal mines, and the one speech where she did talk about it, it was about doing so in favor of better energy sources and retaining workers to move to those industries.

Likewise, factory workers who have watched their jobs go overseas, thanks in large part to the globalist economics of people such as the Clintons. Andy Grove pointed out several years ago that if you build a $1 billion factory in Asia, an identical factory in the United States will take $2 billion to build. And only $100 million of the difference would be in salaries. The rest is in higher taxation and regulations. Yet, the Southeast and the Midwest are the manufacturing heart of this country. It used to be the Northeast, but it became impossible to manufacture up there, so the jobs left the region.
How can you blame Clinton and Democrats for NAFTA ????

there were 258 Democrats in the House of Representatives, 156 voted against NAFTA

Every single Democrat in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin voted against NAFTA, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

But do you know who did support NAFTA,

Rob Portman(R-Ohio), who just got reelected by a land slide voted for it

Newt Gingrich(R-Georgia), voted for it

Mike Pence, our new VP also supported NAFTA when he made it to congress and voted yes on every Trade bill that came up.

John Kasich(R-Ohio) voted for NAFTA

And, of course, there is the issue of illegal immigration. Hey, if you're in some nice, safe white collar job, illegal immigration doesn't affect you. You can mouth all the pieties you want about some guy coming in from Madras or Juarez and working at a Circle K or on a construction site. The problem with that is that the Law of Supply and Demand still holds. The more labor there is, the lower the cost of labor gets. So tell that construction worker who made $20 an hour how great it is that someone has snuck over the border and is now doing his job for $10 an hour. I'll video tape the results from a safe distance.
Most illegals come here legally and simply overstay their visas. Building a wall isnt going to fix that.

In other words, the Democratic Party has completely forgotten its base, which used to be the working class of this country. Oh, sure, it still pays lip service to them. But the people on the coast, the people who make their livings coding or as an assistant marketing director or whatever, seem to have become completely oblivious to the needs of the working people of this country. The people in factories, construction sites, mines, and wherever else. And Hillary Clinton paid the price on Tuesday.
No, what you have shown is that Trump's narrative worked better than actual facts. Maybe Democrats should be blamed for not simple calling Republicans out for the above lies, but it doesnt make the lies any less of a falsehood.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court is poised to take it out of the hands of political change forever, President Elect Trump was the absolute last chance to stop Justice Ginsburg along with the ultimate replacement for Justice Scalia closing that opportunity forever. That is why the Evangelics came out for Mr. Trump when they didn't for Mr Clean himself Governor Romney

DEMOCRATS, allowed and continue to allow Republican to dictate their thinking. Republican pushed this "crooked Hillary" and Democrats bought it, and it clouded their mind and they began to sway and buy into the doubt Republican planted in democrats minds.. The more Trump said it, and the media promoted Trump saying it, Democrats became weak minded and fell for it. Time and time again republican use the same game, this happened last Mid Term, and it continues to happen, because Democrats stop thinking for themselves and listened and became influenced by the Republican Labeling of Clinton. Democrats got lulled into passivity and resulted to let the Republican take the congress during mid terms, not even would the democratic senators speak up for Obama or themselves, and they got swept under the rug.
Hillary did her job, it was the Democratic People who Failed Her !!!!!!!!!

Now, people are asking what happen.. Heck, what happen is the Democrats allowed themselves to be influenced and led to be passive and filled with doubts, as if they lined up for a Cattle Call by republican to be driven like a cowboy moving a herd. Too Many Democrats allowed themselves to be groomed as if by the principle of Pavlov, and resulted to let the republican train them to salivate themselves with doubts about their candidate, every time Trump said something and they salivated on cue and became even more doubt filled.
Then some got lazy and over confident and relied on others to vote while they sat their lazy arse at home. Then others got twisted up in the Sander's cycle, when Bernie's job was never more than to arouse the minds of the young and to get those who had never voted to become aware, then Bernie took it too far and did not know how to redirect his people.
Democrats fell for the Wiki Leaks and then Fell for the Republican pay off to Comney to throw his trash in the mix. Many of the ones out now marching in the street is mixed with people who did not vote and other who did not vote for Hillary, now they are stomping in the street, while Republican are setting up for Office. Geez people, Blame yourself because you got what your doubts of Hillary led you to accept by your own non action and those who chose not to vote, or to throw their vote to a 3rd party.
Maybe for once this might wake up Democrats, but its too late. .... Now Trump gets to fill the Supreme Court!!! As well as attack Obama's massive works.

Emails were never an issue or a concern, any thinking person should have known that, but they listened to Trump and then the Media could not have a News show for 30 seconds without talking about Trump. They covered every one of his speaking engagement, then when Hillary spoke , they cut away to the commentators who started patronizing themselves with fodder, and went right back to talking about Trump.

Democrats even sat on their arse after Republican spent 8 years playing block and tackle in congress, and they let them win back seats they never should have ever been allowed to occupy again.

Now, the media is trying to salvage themselves and avoid taking responsibility for their YEAR AND ONE HALF OF PROMOTING TRUMP EVERY 30 SECONDS, ON A 27/7 CYCLE... they chose the drama for commercial profit and promoted Trump, now they want to try and avoid their irresponsible and biased coverage.

How many more time will Democrats be sucker played as they have been since the Mid Terms.
After Republican Crashed the Economy and Democrats came back and fixed it, then we had dumb Democratic Senators who sat on the sidelines silent, never getting up and getting out to push the message or help the people not to be hoodwinked by Republican Drama Spins.
The only people who spoke up was Biden, Warren and then Sanders had not choice but to try and go to the role he should have played from the beginning.

Democrats have themselves to blame. The same as they sat on their arse, for 8 yrs when Obama told them from the very start that HE NEEDED THEIR HELP, and they just got passive and sat back and even fell for the republican slander and became deluded to not even speak up and support Obama, because they bought into the Republican Negativism.
Democrats now are sitting around "Silent" the only voice that has spoken loudly is Warren

People its time to kick your Democratic Elected Members in the Butt !!!!! Tell them to get off the cush attitude and speak up and stand up. Enough is Enough. No one should have to tell them to get up and speak up, but they are so callous until they sit back silent as if they are waiting on the Republican to tell them what to do.

If you care about Democrats, copy this and send it to the people you know whom are democrats and wake their butts up.
I wrote a mass of information, but people might and might not read it but they were so passive and so unwilling to take a stand and have a voice, they would not share it, and everyday people, would be so passive they could not even make a simple acknowledgment response. That's why Trump is now President, because they did this same thing to all the people who wrote many comments and articles.

Republican circulated their thoughts among each other, like this board is saturated with Republican, but very few Democrats, so Republican take their wrong slanted information, their lack of facts based commentary and they shared it with each other. It did not have to be right what they said, they shared it anyway until they all began to think the same thoughts.
Trump "repeated everything he said" THREE TIMES, and then he told them, REMEMBER THIS" two times every time he wanted them to repeat something or buy into it.

And like cattle in a field, Democrats sat on their butts waiting on the cow bell, and became even more distracted until they bought into the crazy madness of calling Hillary Crooked.

Now all this talk radio talking heads and TV Talking heads, trying to save their job, are now trying to spin drama asking dumb questions, as to "how did this happen" ... It happen for the same reason that people don't take responsibility for their lack of actions their lack of sharing information and their lack of having their own voice and and their weakness to be and become influenced by the stuff Trump was talking and the labels he used to piegeon hole people, and the simplistic minded Democrats bought into it.
Then the Sanders voters bought it even more than others, because they could not grasp that Bernie was never going to be the Nominee, and it was not his job to be the Nominee, it was his job to gather up the young and unaware and get them interested to pay attention to politics. But Bernie and his group made a mess by trying to stay in the arena too long and then making drama rather than step back and redirect his people to understand their role and their need to support the Democratic Nominee.

Republicans might not be smart but they do know how to stick together and follow their own message.

How long will it take for Democrats to wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even when Obama told people they need to stand up, get up and vote to protect the work he had done and promote the legacy to get more done, many people let republican tell them not to listen... Republican put such a spin on it, until Democrats was ready to attack Obama.

Maybe they will learn their less and not become any longer puppets being played by Republican Spin.....

It's such a shame, they considered themselves smart and got outsmarted to have their minds twisted and now they only have themselves to blame.

Stop asking dumb questions and get buy trying to educate democrats how to think for themselves so they can be prepared not to be hoodwinked and led as if they are waiting on the Republican Cow Bell to tell them to go to the feeding hole, or not to go.

Turn off the reality Tv, get off of facebook patronizing each other and walking around with a phone glued to your ears and stuck behind a gaming console playing games and wake up, learn what and how you've been played and pay the heck attention and learn to stay focused.
Too many of you bought into the trick played by FBI Comney, when you already knew Weiner, had nothing to do with Clinton and her Candidacy, and you already knew there was nothing to the Email drama other than Republican Spin. Heck Republican began setting Democrats up to be played all the way back to the Benghazi Circus Act by Republican and Democrats fell for it.

Too many passive minded, easily influenced and then those lazy ones that did not even try to go vote and the others who threw their vote away trying to be smart because they fell for the crap and voted 3rd party and then patted themselves on the back for their own insidiousness.
