Is that your final answer?

Ridiculous. I guess it's only a matter of time until we start implementing affirmative action in how we choose the President.

I maybe should point out that there must be many possible candidates but not many of us know who they are because the press doesn't give them coverage because they aren't doing anything outrageous.

My prediction: The first female POTUS will be a Republican.
Point 1.. Nikki Haley would have a hard time getting nominated in the south.. There's some hard feelings regarding the Confederate flag at the statehouse. She'd get some mud thrown at her.. Tea Party past, even though that's not totally fair.. Is she 'ready' for the presidency? Probably not.. She really, overall, has done a fine job here in SC, but I'd rather see her in a cabinet position first, and I don't really see that happening in the Trump administration.

I will also mention that SC Politicians seem to have something go horribly wrong if they're thought of as presidential material. Carroll Campbell winds up with early onset alzheimers.. Mark Sanford goes "Hiking the Appalachian Trail"

Point 2 - I thought the same thing about the first black president. You never know.

And everyone knows that Manhatten isn't located in the United States. Oh wait. You are going to start another birther movement? Where do you plan to claim she was born?

If I was a betting man (wait . . . I am! ), I might put a wager down on both Nikki Haley and Kamala Harris.

Other bets on who it might be? Or do you think we're so far away that such a name couldn't even be known yet?
