True, but then there is the small problem of powerful private interests hurting you. Just ask the millions of slaves and all of the children who worked in the coal mines.

The U.S. is not number one. Not in measures of societal health anyway.

We are number one when it comes to the % of our population in prison. But that's not exactly something to brag about.
