It's an important issue, but secondary to the needs of the people living within the climate. Specifically, a Carbon Tax on emissions which would (potentially) stifle economic growth within emerging economies...

Which is why emerging economies will never go green unless green is cheaper. Naturally cheaper.

Technological advancements are the only solution.

That would be statism.

The separation of science from money is vitally important.

How much difference can mankind make to reduce/delay climate change? I tend to think negligible.

OK, for real? Really? ANYONE who thinks (or buys into the political propaganda) that we, as humans, actually have as much to do with the climate change as they say, is completely gullible! Plain and simple. The research that shows that CO2 emissions are responsible for the rise in temps was and has been and will continue to be funded by the very governments that want to increase taxes to "control" the climate. There is evidence that proves NOAA has manipulated data on graphs that show the rise in temps across the world since 1880. Compare those "official" records to those kept by private airports and businesses since then and you will see that the rise in temps has not been as abrupt as NOAA makes it seem.

I believe in climate change, NATURALLY so! There is ALWAYS a warm up before a massive cool off. The politicians have just learned how to harness this fact and use it to forward their political agenda.

Explain to me then, how exactly we exited the last ice age....hmm? Was there some sort of CO2 emissions then that caused the warm up? And don't even talk about volcanic eruptions, because they are also part of the natural tectonic plate system that inadvertently affects the stratospheric cycle and surface weather. I can't believe so many politicians have made so much money off of the whole Global warming/ Climate change thing...what a joke. I am going to sit back and clinch my lips together while nodding my head and say "I told ya so" when the higher latitudes of the northern hemisphere begin to see lower temperature anomalies year after year as we enter the grand solar minimum.

The only reason there is even a great debate about the subject is because it appears to make since that the overall global temps have risen since the start of the industrial revolution. I can guarantee everyone that the next several years we will start to see a cooling trend. Take a look at Eurasia right now.....

Unimportant. The climate will change regardless of what humans do.
