OK. calling names is disgusting, especially on the first lady of the country, who did a lot of great things. however, why is it a racism again?
sure, she called her an "ape", how why is it related to racism? Are we all very closely related to apes, like sharing 99% of the DNA? Or is it because who call racism are racists themselves?
If we insist it is a manifestation of racism because apes are black, fine that's your interpretation, then why don't we think about the horrible names all the different people called Donald Trump?
Lord Voldemort — Rosie O'Donnell
Golden Wrecking Ball — Sarah Palin
Short-Fingered Vulgarian — Graydon Carter
Tiny Hands Trump, Babyfingers Trump and Pixie Fingers Trump — Michael R. Burch
****face von Clownstick, Man-Baby, Comedy Entrapment and Unrepentant Narcissistic ******* — Jon Stewart
The White Kanye ― Bill Maher
Trump of Doom — Michael R. Burch
Tangerine Tornado — Dana Carvey
Cheeto-Dusted Bloviator, the Angry Cheeto, Cheeto Jesus and Cheez Whiz
New York Pork Dork —
Hair Hitler and Hair Furor
Gossamer-Skinned Bully — Graydon Carter
Orange Anus — Rosie O'Donnell
Yet we don't find any of them racism. Apparently a white person can't be a victim of racism in America.
So Trump called Rosio O'Donnell fat and disgusting, which is largely why he is labeled misogynist. but calling Trump all thos finger related nicknames with crude insinuations, that's not sexist as well and equally offensive?
I don condone racism, but the double standard is incredible here.

You can't deny that public discourse over the course of the election has deteriorated into name calling and juvenile insinuations and racial innuendo. That's what Donald Trump brought to us, he goaded his opponents into this, brought them down to his level. Who's surprised? The culture has been in full decline for a long time, Trump just took advantage of it. These statements are simply a reflection of our trashy culture.

I don't for a minute believe you don't understand why calling our First Lady an ape is racist. Nor why any of those examples you trotted out are not examples of racism. Stop playing dumb. You know.
Okay all you Darwinist twits out there....YES we are related to apes...and all life forms including fruit flies. Personally I have never been an ape...nor where my great great great ancestors...The first lady is a fine woman...she is also not an ape...People might be related to all life forms but there is no real proof that we were actually apes....so shut up till you find the missing link...and all they have come up with a few crumbs of fossilized rock.
Yeah and here's the beauty queen who made the statement:
I'm just saying, I don't know this lady from Eve, she may be an otherwise decent person, but I'm sure she wouldnt like the things people might say about her appearance.

You can't possibly be that dense.
But just in case you are, blacks have been compared to gorillas and apes for ages because of their wide noses, flared nostrils, and dark skin.

If you really don't understand the difference, it is probably a waste of my time, or anyone else's, to try to explain it.

Oh, the OP understands. He/she just wanted an excuse to create a thread in which he gets to call our First Lady an ape. I'm sure it made his day. Behold Trump's America.
