Well, anyone who can't successfully compete with an immigrant just isn't trying hard enough. Anyone who thinks resources and opportunities are scarce is probably referring to just the freebies of those things; but such scarcity is caused by selfish, ignorant, heartless people (of which the U.S. has no scarcity).
You're so out of touch with reality, common among liberals. You can't compete if you aren't allowed on the field. Our HR department (based in San Francisco) constantly harps about "diversity" and hasn't even sent us an American, man or woman, to interview for years, plenty of Indians on visas though so how is a citizen supposed to compete? Not to mention in the last round of layoffs 20% of our team was let go every one of them a straight, white, male with years of experience and great annual reviews.
