The predominantly Christian country of Slovakia passed a law on Nov. 30 that effectively bans Islam as an officially recognized religion, which also blocks Islam from receiving any state subsidies for its schools, reported Reuters.

The prime minister, Robert Fico, said in May that "Islam has no place" in Slovakia. Prior to the law being passed, Slovak National Party Chairman Andrej Danko said, "Islamization starts with a kebab and it's already under way in Bratislava -- let's realize what we can face in 5 to 10 years."

"We must do everything we can so that no mosque is built in the future," said Danko.

Its a step in the right direction.. Slovakia was occupied by Muslims in its past and I don't think they want it to happen again.

Christian Slovakia Passes Law to Ban Islam

Slovakia passes law to ban Islam being registered as a religion -707032

Decades after the Hungarian defeat of Mohacs (1526) Turkish troops occupied Štúrovo (Párkány) and other parts of today's southern central Slovakia and encouraged the Protestant Christian groups while Habsburg Austrian troops occupied and recatholized the northern and western parts. Later on the Turks seized some further territories in southern central Slovakia and pillaged in territories up to Nitra. Finally, however, when the Turks lost the Battle of Vienna and the Ottoman vassal Imre Thököly was defeated in Slovakia, between 1687 and 1699 Turkish Ottoman rule in Hungary was finally broken.

They are a sovereign country and are within their rights to pass laws that benefit and protects it's citizens. Good for them.

Exactly. I know that Obozo would be the first to say something to them and bully them about their culture.... Angela Merkel would be next...

At least some country's remember the history of Islam in Europe and how thousands had to fight to remove it. Now politicians are just letting them walk in under the cloak of refugee and migrant ... It is a sad thing to watch.
