Tim Kaine tweeted about gun violance and so did many other lefties. Only later they found out it was a machete and a car killing and injuring innocent people.

The only gun used was from the good guy/hero, killing the terrorist!

After the lefties figured it out they went silence!

Even Obama seems to have lost his tongue.

Yep. A terrorist attack happens, straight to the agenda driven commentary blindly assuming the I cident fit a their agenda. It all did serve to unmask their true intentions. Use a violent act to push those intentions with zero focus on the tragedy of the incident itself, the people killed and injured and the motives of the attacker. Just straight to "we need to ban guns". Until it comes out that it was an armed person that stopped the attack. Which would have continued without that armed person.

Morons is too kind a term.

"Better that a Sayeed Farook reporting on a Christopher Hayes committing a mass shooting"

Leftist Narrative. Source: John Podesta's emails.

I don't really get what is so wrong about his tweet. Early reports claimed it was an active shooter... There were posts on CD talking about the "shooting" at Ohio State. The thread in the Current Events forum didn't even have its title changed from "Ohio State University shooting incident" until today.

Would it have been better if he was like Trump and just deleted the tweet as if nothing had happened? Instead he sent out an updated tweet an hour later saying it was a knife attack.

Of course this is all assuming that Tim Kaine is actually the one personally writing all of his tweets and not someone on his staff.

What is wrong is that he jumped right on it to suit an agenda in order to capitalize upon it.

So were all the news articles and posts on CD about a shooting at OSU based on an agenda?

People are angry when Obama doesn't jump right in the second something happens, but then when other politicians do they are called "boneheaded" for not getting the facts right before everything is known. Its certainty a lose lose situation for democrats. I'm sure there were plenty of republicans also voicing their opinions about the "shooting" at OSU, but somehow its okay for them to mislabel the attack as a shooting.
