He felt the Trump message was much effective. Wants the democrats to stay away from racial politics.

What gives?

What gives? Failure analysis.

Dems lost the country because they took identity politics and race issues too damn far and threw the baby out with the bath water in the process. They'll need to change their rhetoric if they hope for future success.

I'm glad some Dems are still capable of self-analysis.

If he was actually capable of self-analysis, he would have added "...unfortunately, racial identity politics is all we have, so we'll do it again next go around, regardless."

It solves the puzzle of the Democratic Party that wants racial division. Sadly, the minorities buy into this and quickly learn to feel inadequate.

But, do not forget the LGBTQ politics. What does Q stand for?

I sincerely hope the Democrats return to being the good reasonable party of the past.

They need to go listen to speeches from Barbara Jordan in order to recreate their platform.

If the Dems were to do something like that, it would force the GOP to pick decent candidates.

For any of you who aren't familiar with Barbara Jordan, she was a Democrat Congresswoman from Houston.

Democrats will play the race card because they feel it is a winning strategy. In doing this they actually exhibit more racism than the Republicans who seem to be more color blind.

"white working class "

You are arguing they are color blind by simply only focusing on white people.

And before you respond, Google that phrase and Kellyanne Conway.

Trump won on an economic message in states that were left behind, in states i might add that have been ruled by Republicans no less.

I've said this before and I will admit I wasn't the first to say it.

The election boiled down to the idea that people believed that Trump was concerned over where they were going to get a job and Hillary was concerned more about where they could pee.
