I don't get why political belief isn't a protected class, while religious belief is -they're both just subjective notions, that people can change anytime they want.
Maybe religious belief shouldn't be a protected class, rather than political belief being a protected class.
Its all for naught. Yelp is going to delete a bunch.
Yes Yelp has a filter system it deletes reviews automatically even ones that are 100 percent legitimate and well written. I honestly hate Yelp I don't use it for restaurant reviews anymore for this reason. Its ratings aren't accurate. I don't spend time writing reviews on it anymore because their stupid system deleted so many of my reviews.
IMO, that business owner should be able to refuse business to anyone he/she wants. Ironically the political hack he apparently supported, doesn't want him to have that right.
On the other hand, it makes absolutely no sense from a business perspective. i.e. Never turn away a paying customer.
Ah yes, I think of that Christian loon woman who wanted to turn away gays from her business.
The politically correct way, if there is one , is "No Trump Hats allowed." Or "No Trump talk permitted in this establishment."
Our neighbor said a local tavern has a new policy of not serving drinks to people who can be heard talking about Trump, either for or against. Says they get rowdy and things get ugly.
Poor business sense. Just throw out the rowdy's. They may come in just to talk about politics.
