Whichever poster I responded to asserted that the country is in much worse shape now than when Obama became president. I disagree.

You could at least bother to understand my post in context. It's not that hard.

If anyone, it has been Obama who has been "in over his head" for the last eight years. We only need to look at the state of our economy, and the mess in the Middle East, to know this. It is all his doing. That's called incompetence.

There is no requirement for him to release his taxes.

Perhaps you should have been demanding Hillary explain her global pay for play scheme? Ever hear of The Clinton Foundation? Sure you have. But you choose to ignore it.

I have no problem with Trump using Twitter. At least he can't be misquoted, and he gets to talk directly to the American people without going through the biased Left-wing media, who put words in his mouth, parsing everything he says for the effect they want, whether true or not.
1. And THAT is exactly what we are afraid of. We don't need donnie's mess visited upon us.

2. ^ SERIOUSLY!? He comes right back to say he was misquoted! LOL.

You can't be serious. You would find a lot of disagreement among experts on world affairs, and they have not been shy about voicing their disagreements. Virtually everyone believes the Middle East is a bigger quagmire than it was when Bush left office. It was Obama and Hillary's policies that birthed ISIS and allowed it to grow into the multinational terrorist organization it is today.

Selective ignorance is a disease.

I reiterate;
Selective ignorance is a disease.
And Bush had eight years to do something about it if he didn't like it. He didn't.

You are right, selective ignorance IS a disease.

Got anything on how Obama started meeting with foreign dignitaries all by his lonesome.

Got anything on how he was undercutting Bush on foreign policy?

Exactly.

I can see where meeting with the current president and working on a smooth transition makes good sense and perhaps is a time honored tradition.

But I don't recall any president-elect in my lifetime muddling around in foreign affairs.

Trump is a unique case. We can certainly assume that even AFTER his term, the tweets will continue as long as he is alive. That's the man.
That being said, in the last week of his term, Obama is disgraceful. If he wanted to take certain steps ( or pardon people), he had 8 years. Forcing a certain reality on the next administration (regardless of Trump) is bad. Very bad.

No it wasn't.
ISIS comes from Al Qaeda in Iraq, which is Bush Jnr's fault.

Quote:
Where did they come from?

ISIS was born out of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003. When U.S. administrators, under Paul Bremer, decided to "de-Baathify" the Iraqi civil and military services, hundreds of thousands of Sunnis formerly loyal to Saddam Hussein were left without a job — and they were mad. Al Qaeda chose to capitalize on their anger and established al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) to wage an insurgency against U.S. troops in Iraq (Saddam was secular, but his intelligence and military supporters were able to make common cause with the jihadis of al Qaeda).
