LOL..and this right simply must include all those "Blowup partners" as well! Only legality is that they possess a SS Number? ROFLMAO Ohh yeah. it may also demand citizen papers and maybe being "Taxpayers" too!
Kidding aside..why equalize robot identity to human beings anyway??????
Right, a handful of cases where someone wants to do something objectively insane is clearly an epidemic.
Look, I agree with one thing: the rise in children being born out of wedlock and the fewer number of marriages happening is somewhat concerning. It's beneficial for a society to maintain a healthy replacement value birthrate. Modern technology has of course made infant mortality rates lower greatly and made is easier to have children even a bit later in life, so it's not so frightening that people aren't marrying at 20 anymore. But many are never getting married or in very unhealthy relationships. No evidence has been presented that gay people are to blame, becasue only stupid people think such evidence exists though naturally, they don't believe in evidence as the Bible counts as evidence to them that evolution is a lie.
And that right there may just be the problem. This article itself seems to rely on the "God" argument. When it talks about same sex marriage, it does have the decency to say that homosexuals are in fact people, but claims it goes against God's wishes. The problem: there probably isn't a God. And if there is, no reasonably evidence for his/her/its existence can be presented. But some people who do use this argument think it does exist, in the form of the Bible, but we're at a point where that level of stupidity does not pass anymore. And no, before someone accuses me, I don't think religious people are stupid. Many religious people are perfectly intelligent, but they also don't think the Bible is word for word accurate. The understand the history and development of religion, as well as have a firm grasp on how translating works.
Alas, when the argument for traditional marriage arises, that's very often the argument: that God only approves of that. And these people are so wrapped up in their ideology that they can't even grasp that not everyone agrees that God exists. So of course, their arguments aren't going to work on anyone with the capacity to think on their own.
If the traditional marriage only people want to win, they need an evidence based argument which means telling the evangelists who fund their campaign that they're stupid and that they should shut up.
LOL! Crazier than marrying a robot is marrying YOURSELF! The article mentions "a small but growing movement around the world,” in which people have “solo weddings” and there's even "a self-marriage counselor and minister, offering services including consulting sessions and private ceremonies."
Might be worth it if you can do married filing jointly. On the other hand, no big surprise honeymoon night.
