Trump is supposed to be Russia's puppet... Obama is proving to be more of a puppet for Iran. Yeah - better get this done before times up... Weren't our boats involved in another dust up today? Who cares...
Iran is to receive a huge shipment of natural uranium from Russia to compensate it for exporting tons of reactor coolant, diplomats say, in a move approved by the outgoing U.S. administration and other governments seeking to keep Tehran committed to a landmark nuclear pact.
...
Despite present restrictions on its enrichment program, however, the amount of natural uranium is significant should Iran decide to keep it in storage, considering its potential uses once some limits on Tehran's nuclear activities start to expire in less than a decade.
David Albright, whose Institute of Science and International Security often briefs U.S. lawmakers on Iran's nuclear program, says the shipment could be enriched to enough weapons-grade uranium for more than 10 simple nuclear bombs, "depending on the efficiency of the enrichment process and the design of the nuclear weapon."

And the idea that Trump is friendly with Putin and Hillary and Obama were not goes out the window. I guess this Russian hacking was just a big smoke screen to cover whatever deal they have going with Iran.
Please, Mr. Trump. Check into Obama. You can see to it that EVERYTHING he ever put his name to is made null and void.
VIENNA (AP) -- Iran is to receive a huge shipment of natural uranium from Russia to compensate it for exporting tons of reactor coolant, diplomats say, in a move approved by the outgoing U.S. administration and other governments seeking to keep Tehran committed to a landmark nuclear pact.
Two senior diplomats said the transfer recently approved by the U.S. and five other world powers that negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran foresees delivery of 116 metric tons (nearly 130 tons) of natural uranium.
That was the link inside that article that the OP presented...that you OBVIOUSLY did not even bother to read before you screamed like a child that it was "fake news".
Here is an idea. Just think how much political pressure Iran would feel if Israel joined the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty instead of being one of the few roque states not to do so. Being in the company of North Korea is a real feather the ole cap huh?
Was this the deal where Bill Clinton got a $1M speaking fee from Russia in return for Hillary pushing thorough the Uranium deal as Secretary of State?
Or as that another US Uranium deal to Russia pushed through by Clinton?
No and No.
The swap is in compensation for the approximately 40 metric tons (44 tons) of heavy water exported by Iran to Russia since the nuclear agreement went into effect. Another 30 metric tons went to the U.S. and Oman.
That's a Zerohedge headline - not entirely a lie, yet deliberately made to be misleading.
I'll be the one to state the obvious: Natural (that is, unenriched) uranium is utterly worthless for bombmaking.
If you want to move form natural uranium to warhead, you have to either enrich to weapons-grade level - which is hard and expensive and, in the case of Iran, extra hard because 75% or so of their centrifuges are mothballed and monitored.
Or you can enrich to reactor-level, shove your uranium into your running reactor, make plutonium and build an implosion-type weapon. Which is also extra-hard to do for Iran, because they just poured concrete into the HWR they used to have for that purpose.
Iran can mine their own, you guys know that, right? Also, they shipped their existing stockpile of 20% HEU to Russia as part of the deal. Was the cunning plan one where Iran gave up years of enrichment effort to get their hands on some unenriched uranium so they could start over? Is that the idea Zerohedge is selling?
You can hate the Iranians all you want, but they're not stupid.

And what is the hard part, class? Getting uranium or enriching it? Anyone?
