A lot of people here blast Trump because he fights back with those who slight or insult him. Apparently they think Trump should just ignore all criticism, kind of like tying his hands behind his back while everyone is allowed to take a swing at him.

The funny thing is, posters on here almost ALWAYS fight back when someone else insults their post. Shouldn't they practice what they preach?

Oh the HYPOCRISY!

Posters here don't have a country to run and 300 million people to govern.

I think it's warranted,....most of the time.

Like with the CNN reporter the other day. I'm 1000% ok with it and it was great!

Your thread title says it all... trump proclaims his need for vengeance and retaliation at every turn. He does, indeed, have a vengeance problem, and it is now the population of the US's problem, too.

Can you picture for a moment - if every time there was something said or published that was unflattering to obama, he would resort to a twitterfest of blaming, denigrating comments? If he called every new organization who did that fake, loser, failing... and every individual who crossed him a liar, loser...

What if you, or someone you had to deal with every day in your own life, did that to everyone who you/they thought said anything at all about you/them that you/they didn't like? Do you think that is an adult thing to do? Do you think that would be the least bit productive? Do you think anyone at all in ordinary life should be that way? Probably not... so why do you support and defend it for trump?

Well except for the part where he conflated CNN with Buzzfeed...right?

Yeah.

Yes, he is... and he should be mature enough to pick his battles.

That argument only works if Trump is 12. He's supposed to act like a adult....and he doesnt even meet THAT standard.

And yes, Presidents are held to even a higher standard then that.

I dont expect a minister to be out killing, and robbing. but you try and make it sound like I'm a hypocrite for saying that.

Seems a little weird.

So you'd rather him act like Obama, where you have no clue what he's thinking, and suddenly comes out of left field, slapping Israel in the face, and suddenly granting Iran the right to build nuclear weapons?

I don't know about you, but I'd much rather know what a president is thinking.

People aren't all that different at their core. It's just how they present themselves.
