They better think twice about not being loyal if they're from states that voted for Trump. Which they are.
LOL
Listen to yourself.
Be loyal to Trump, or else......
Their vote in 2016 is irrelevant considering how they will vote in 2018. They voted for Trump, they didn't marry him, so there is no life-long loyalty agreement. If Trump does something to disappoint the voters, and a Senator speaks up against it, they will support the Senator, and dump Trump in 2020 (if he is even in the office at that time).
He has already demonstrated an abuse of his powers, even before becoming President. The 'how' is dependent upon the 'when'.
You can't abuse your powers as president before you are president.

There won't be any issues.
Presidents and vice-presidents are exempt from conflicts of interest regarding their own businesses, and now come to find out that George Washington himself accepted "emoluments" -- but keep grasping at straws. It's fun to watch.
If it comes to that, McConnell will use the nuclear option and end all filibusters -- finishing what Harry Reid started.
But the most likely scenario is that Trump will have enough Democratic senators on his side to get what he wants -- so MANY of them will be up for re-election in states that voted decisively for Trump!
And Republicans who oppose Trump are going to be facing the same problem.
See, this is why I keep asking "how" -- How are the Democrats going to "hold Trump accountable"?
McConnell has already stated that they shouldn't legislate like they will be in power forever so I don't see that, besides the best cure for a ruling party is to allow them to have complete control and shoot themselves in the foot. The filibuster will still hold the GOP accountable as was the case when the democrats were in power, Obama got through the ACA but many of his plans like closing Guantanamo hit a wall and he was reduced to executive actions on immigration and others.
Why do you think this will be different.
If McConnell plans to use the nuclear option he wouldn't be going through all these gyrations to defund the ACA, he would have just planned on an outright vote. This is the difference between being in power, you actually have to take resp0onsibility for your actions.
The latest brave words from the Democrats is that they are going to "hold Trump accountable."
Really?
I wonder how.
The Democrats don't have the House or the Senate.
In 2018, they'll lose even more seats in the Senate from states that voted for Trump.
They had 18 months to hold him accountable when he was running for office -- didn't happen.
And I'm not even asking "accountable for what?" -- but we can explore that, too.
Accountable to what? Their corruption?
The idiots do not realize their childish temper tantrums, are cementing 2020 and beyond for alt-right to dig their heals in really deep, you will never get them out.
Your corruption and lies were rejected, Democrats. Now put on your big mama panties on and deal with reality.

The people who voted for the congress members in question voted for Trump.
Unless and until those voters turn against Trump, the congress members better go along with Trump if they want to get re-elected.
Check the Peoples reaction to the removal of ethics, how'd that work out?
Trump opposed gutting the congessional ethics office.
So what does it have to do with anything in this thread?
