I got a chuckle out of this comment in the link:

“People who spent the last 10 years mocking people for wanting safe spaces suddenly want safety.”

The only "reasonable" discussion is when some self hating white person agrees with whatever racist rhetoric being spewed by someone of whatever color is looking for vindication of their hatred.
I live in a pretty white state, but spent a lot of time in the military. When we were working towards the same goals, it didn't matter if the crew was made of a mixture of white, black, brown, Asian, we got the job done. Or when I was on the wildfire crews, the American Indian crews I worked with were top notch.

IF we work together towards a common goal and forget the PC bull, we can do great things. Problem is, for the last 8 years we've been subjected to unceasing attacks on one demographic, (whites for those not following along), and that demographic is simply fed up with it. Hence, we have a very non-PC president elect.

Throwing tantrums not based in anything but emotions and using race as a tool to tear down someone else is counterproductive.
Thanks to PC, we can't have an open discussion about crime or poverty or unwed mothers, because that is "racist" and targeting minorities.

"White fragility", if we were as emotionally fragile as that idiot quoted in the article, there would already be a race war raging across the country.
This kind of ideology driven hyperbole is why I normally avoid this forum.
