no. spent 8 years fighting progressive POLICY that we disagreed with. our people in Washinton, at our behest, did their best to block and slow down progressive POLICY.

Permits have always been required for protesting in public places. Without permits, any Joe Liberal would be able to legally block traffic or prevent people from conducting legal businesses. We may just have to abandon the country if that were the case.

Nobody said it's against the law to disagree with you. You have the right to disagree. What you DON'T have is the right to say it's ILLEGAL by disagreeing and take away someone else's right to protest. You don't see blue states introducing bills to outlaw protests against Obama did you?
If there's protests that doesn't end up with property being destroyed or damaged, it's LEGAL period end of story.

again. show me where blue states had red protestors blocking traffic and burning down cities during "peaceful protests. Show me some like scenario where republican protestors kept up protests for 8 months like in Ferguson... speaking of Ferguson, show me some place in America where conservatives PAID protestors to keep up protests month after month causing massive disruption and depleting the cities budget to police the "peaceful" protests.

Finn, let me be clear on this point. If there is a peaceful protest where the organizers go thru the proper channels and do what is right and hold a truly peaceful rally, I am for their exercising of first Amendment rights.
but we aren't talking about that. and everyone knows it. What we are talking about are these protests that are not truly peaceful, aren't done in a way to insure the police can contain and control it.
