If anyone has more recent FACTS that negate this, please post the link but if this is still the case, I was just informed that all of his other business locations can be considered satellites of The White House and you can call them and leave messages for him there and insist that he divests.

Quote:
To transfer control of his companies, the president has to submit filings in Florida, Delaware and New York. We spoke to officials in each of those states.

At a news conference last week, now-President Donald Trump said he and his daughter, Ivanka, had signed paperwork relinquishing control of all Trump-branded companies. Next to him were stacks of papers in manila envelopes — documents he said transferred “complete and total control” of his businesses to his two sons and another longtime employee.

Sheri Dillon, the Trump attorney who presented the plan, said that Trump “has relinquished leadership and management of the Trump Organization.” Everything would be placed in a family trust by Jan. 20, she said.

That hasn’t happened.

To transfer ownership of his biggest companies, Trump has to file a long list of documents in Florida, Delaware and New York. We asked officials in each of those states whether they have received the paperwork. As of 3:15 p.m. today, the officials said they have not.

Trump and his associates “are not doing what they said they would do,” said Richard Painter, the chief ethics lawyer for President George W. Bush. “And even that was completely inadequate.”

The article is fake news.

Trump was never going to transfer ownership, he was going to transfer control, which is did, exactly like he promised he would.

There are hundreds of documents for turning over control of his companies, you aren't going to get a simple one page document that you will get to see that conforms this.

He passed control of his companies to his family, there has been no ownership change, there isn't going to be any state records to see.

The article is a red herring argument.

He passed control of his companies to his family, there has been no ownership change, there isn't going to be any state records to see.

The article is complete BS.

Oh, no.

He had most of November, all of December, and half of January and he hasn't done squat?

Tell me it isn't so.

How discouraging.

Again, the article is fake news.

Why is it that you dems make a lie, and even after the lie is called out, you continue to go on with the lie?

Are any of you who are pointing out that there's been no actual transfer of ownership because he handed over control to his kids even remotely concerned that this doesn't really put any distance between himself and his business interests? Is this really adequate distance to satisfy your concerns, if any, about conflicts of interest?

For me, yes.

If he breaks the law, go after him full bore.
