Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich tweeted that the newly elected President's 10-year-old son Barron will be the nation's first "home school shooter".

Apparently out of embarrassment, the comedy writer deleted the message three hours later, then subsequently closed her entire Twitter account. Reactions have ranged from outrage from almost every quarter to the occasional "so what? Trump does it too".

It should be fine according to Trump supporters, they hate political correctness.

That's between her and her employer.

Of course I'm not a liberal.

Nope, freedom of speech. You know that thing in the constitution that conservatives either fawn over or hate depending on who uses it.

You'll find the majority of conservatives are going to say it should be strictly up to her employer.

Unfortunately, that isn't a poll opinion.

Unless she's being fired because the joke wasn't very funny, I see no reason to take this seriously.

That's because it's asking your opinion, not her employers.

This has nothing to do with political correctness.

Attacking a 10 year old by saying he is going to go on a shooting spree is nothing short of reprehensible.
