Hillary and Bernie are both against the TPP. But I am sure if either of them won and pulled out of it, you would be praising what a great idea it is to leave the TPP.
Hillary wasn't against it. She said she would change a few things. Probably the font it was printed with.
If TPP had to be negotiated as a trade treaty on the federal level ab initio (and it most assuredly did), I doubt it's going to pass muster as a mere "Memorandum of Understanding" simply for the convenience and benefit of certain Californians who view themselves as commercially aggrieved parties.
It's already happening. California has trade relationships with several Chinese provinces so...

I think we as a nation need to ask ourselves why states need to remain attached to each other under oppressive federal rule.

Lots of people in California voted for Sanders so apparently the TPP is not that big of an issue for you and they most certainly would have voted for Sanders over Trump in the main election.

Bite me. What have I been saying this entire thread? Sanders was right on TPP. He was against it. I've said all along that Trump was right to let it remain dead.

Why were the details of this so secretive ? Why was there a security clearance needed to read the document of the treaty ? If it was so great for everyone, wouldn't sharing it help sell it ?
