My understanding was that there was no love lost between the Clintons and the Obamas. My guess is that Obama pressured the FBI etc to protect Hillary because she had plenty of dirt on him. If she goes down, so does he. I think blackmail was in their book of tricks. Just as Bill coincidentally ran into Loretta Lynch in the tarmac, you may recall Bill accidentally running into Obama on the golf course where they had a little one of one discussion.
