If Trump is going to pour a fortune flooding the south and west side Chicago with Feds, be my guest.
Of course, the result will only be minimal because what's happening is a block by block gang war that the Feds can't fix, but I don't expect conservatives to understand the real problem. They're too busy with the alternative world.

How about if you're a gang member, you go to the slammer. Sooner of later crime has to drop.
It puts a national spotlight on the issue, and will put all the more pressure on the city to solve the problems.

Please. The cities are chomping at the bit to let the feds to their policing. Why not? It's free. This won't put pressure on anyone to fix it.
It puts pressure on Trump...that's all. If he said it, he's gotta follow through on it. Big city mayors couldn't care less if he wants to send in the feds.

I saw that. Cops aren't patrolling because of the war on cops. Now they just sit back and wait for the 911 call instead of actively patrolling. I can't blame them. Rham threw them under the bus more than once.
Mayor Rahm will extend Sanctuary City status to violent criminals, that should drum up enough Liberal outrage to buffer President Trump's threats of action

There is no "War on Cops". Largely, the Chicago PD got their little feelings hurt, and didn't like that people were critical of them, so they took their ball and went home.
