An investigation into voter fraud is a waste of money. What has happened to the Repubs who used to be concerned about the deficit? Trump is trying to spend like a drunken fool.

Because it's a blatant fabrication and these bogus investigations will cost the taxpayer.
Because that's the shiny object du jour his detractors are chasing while he churns out numerous executive orders and policy positions they hate but don't comment on because they're too busy bellowing about how stupid and incompetent he is for shouting "vote fraud."
Trump is childish and stupid about most everything. Of course, he can't help it because he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Are there any Republicans backing him on this fool's errand?
The Donald's voter fraud allegations are there as a distraction and to sooth his sensitive ego that cannot accept the more Americans voted against him than for him.
Much to my annoyance here in "Live Free or Die" New Hampshire I have to show a picture ID before I am issued a ballot. Even though I realize that given the overcrowding the election officials cannot recognize the voters on site and need a card to verify identity I am still annoyed.
In my old fashioned world I am who I say I am and I expect to be believed. Being questioned is an insult. The TSA bs at an airport is really annoying.

There is even something more sinister going on...
He is attempting to proliferate the lie so that at the midterm elections they can further suppress more voters in the states that are likely to no support the right wing.

Read some of the threads in these forums, some would go deaf, dumb, and blind and back virtually anything he ordered.
