A student at Northwestern University did what many young 18-year-old freshman do when they arrive on campus and attempted to join a sorority. However, this particular 18-year-old freshman happens to be a transgender student who told the newspaper he is in transition to male. This presents an interesting situation for Northwestern University and is something we should expect to see more often at higher institutions of learning as they begin to grasp how to handle alternative gender identifications.
Talk about a bizarre situation. My question I have though is if this person transitioned to a male from a female why try to apply for a sorority instead of a fraternity??
"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. Your next stop, the twilight zone".....Rod Serling

Maybe the person is sexually attracted to females? Kind of like a "butch" lesbian that hangs around women, dates and is sexually active with one or more woman, a sorority would be a good place to settle into.

Except the thing that's been drilled into everyone's brains is that if a person is transitioning to be a male, we are to refer to said person as a 'he', and will also be considered a 'he' with regard to restrooms, etc. WHERE does a Sorority fit into that equation?
Some of these people are so damn confused I don't think they know WHAT they want.

Of course you are right, MPowering. I was just speculating on a possible motive (and if that was said motive then it would be rational albeit very deceptive in a trickery kind of way).
