Trump registered to run for President in 2020 - https://mobile.twitter.com/resisterh...35325535252480 this makes him a candidate for President, he qualifies, and those who oppose him who are non-profits, or NGO's can't campaign or organize to protest him without losing tax exempt or NGO status. They are forbidden from involvement for or against a candidate for public office. In this case it covers all 50 states and territories of the U.S.

Entertaining at least.

Being enjoined from supporting, or not supporting, a particular candidate is pretty much already standard for a 501(c)3 in any event. This doesn't really change anything.

Upon winning the election as President, Trump ceased being a candidate. Now, he has indicated running for President in 2020 and filed papers to that effect. Usually a President isn't a candidate until a year or year and a half before the end of their first term. Trump seems to be seeking relief from non-profit harassment of him over the next 4 years. Soros and the Tides foundation groups may be more careful.

They can still comment on policy, whether in support or opposition, so the filing means nothing. If it actually meant that NGOs can't comment you wouldn't have various ones testifying for or against legislation all the way from Capitol Hill to the smallest Town Councils. And yes, they do include active candidates in those comments.

Has Trump not made an effort to do everything he said on the campaign trail?
Is Trump one to tell his enemies his plans?
Why is Steve Bannon one of Trumps top advisors?

The left just thinks Hillary is in the clear.

"We are going to appoint a Special Prosecutor" (Trey Gowdy)
"Because you'd be in jail"
Friggin orgasmic!
