There should be no surprise - he has said this since day one. He'll set up a political boundary (borders) and direct the flow of trade out.
You might think they care about what people think. You'd be wrong. 100 million people rioting would not change the plan.
There are a few possible outcomes;
A) They are successful. America will become re-industrialized. People will work in factories and make products to sell globally.
B) They fail. America will descend into violent chaos, will be quickly attacked, and most likely states will leave as DC scorches the earth to save itself. Make no mistake, DC is not your friend. Like all governments, self preservation tops all.
C) They are somewhat successful. Some people will live in near Honduras like conditions. Others will live like Arabian royals. Large gates and private security forces will patrol large areas, and won't be funded by the government. Civil unrest will become normal, since welfare won't exist many millions of people will live in shacks and what not.
B or C are most likely at this point but no one can say they are surprised. He has said all of this since day one..
All this happens in 4 years? Wow that on hell of a time table. Bush couldn't even do that (any of these option) in 8 years.
"Marie Harf on FOX NEWS is talking about issues I brought up this morning. So it's not just the Left talking about it."
^^^^
She IS the left. Maybe it's the way the statements are written that I misread your meaning. You did not mention that it was FOX that discussed it 'even after her segment ended'. That would have clarified it.
My apologies.
Fox has guests representing the left because, as they say, they are 'fair and balanced'. You are right in that all can learn watching FoxNews.
And the same is true with MSNBC and Morning Joe. All can learn watching that, too. Especially if one wants to pick up on the nuances and spin of facts and be amused (or not) at their version the truth.
Okay I understand. Thank you. I was just so excited that they were speaking about it and that people would not have to depend on MSNBC. Thank you for clarifying.
Trump is nothing compared to the revenge from those we have been bombing and killing are going to demand.
Those who refused to condemn Obama's lies have no standing here. They are the reason we got Trump.

How far back should we go in appointing blame & the accompanying condemnation? Maybe we should 'play the cards we've been dealt' in the here & now, use critical thinking strategies to solve, trouble-shoot or re-solve the most pressing problems & take it from there. Time-travel is not an option.

I might agree when I see that happening. All I see is the same old failed tactics.

We've used 'Shock & Awe' on others, why are we surprised? FUD is a tactic & strategy, fear - uncertainty - doubt, it needs countering.

They're relieved, in many ways, that they no longer feel they have to bear the responsibility for some of their actions while in power. Even in his last hours in office Obama signed some Exec orders that were expected to create problems for the incoming President. So, yes, Democrats still own a lot of it and both sides should learn from it -- mostly Democrats who now refuse to cooperate for no reason other than just spite.
Your post echoes that theme of 'let's not go back in placing blame'. Now that Democrats are out of power, 'time travel is not an option'.
