Some people don't regard him as the Prez of everyone. He's not the President of those who came here as refugees, for example. Or of Muslim Americans. He attacked a fallen American soldier who was Muslim. Or of women...because of his lifelong history of abusing women by physically molesting them or verbally attacking those without the power to defend themselves. And so on.
I don't do boycotts, but some people feel strongly about some things. They have the right to buy from whom they want to buy.
The alt-right quit buying Dixie Chicks music, after they criticized Bush's Iraq War.
I wouldn't say I do a boycott, but I prefer not to see Mel Gibson movies, after his horrible extreme supremacist rants against Jewish people. It's not just a political viewpoint; he's a bad person and would have been the type to gleefully join the Nazi Party back in the day.
He didn't 'attack a fallen American soldier'. That soldier's father attacked Trump randomly at Hillary's event remember?
Trump didn't say anything bad about the fallen soldier. Talk about twisting things. Trump simply defended himself against verbal attacks.
Regarding abusing women, where were the libs protesting against Bill Clinton. The accusations against Clinton seem a lot more legit than those against Trump.
We need to protect ourselves against radical Islam..not all Muslims are radicalized, but unfortunately there are some in that religion that enjoy killing innocent people in the name of the religion...take a look at what's been going on in Europe if you want to know why.
The Tesla cannot be manufactured at all without government subsidy and Musk doesn't want to lose what he is getting. It costs him $70,000 to manufacture a car which can be sold for $50,000. We, Th People contribute all the rest.
Now, he is gathering government resources so that we can "go to Mars". It's nonsense. We cannot live on Mars and every scientist in the world knows that. But they want your money anyway.
Hopefully, Trump will used Musk to gather support and Musk will never catch on.

Actually, Tesla repaid all their debt to the federal government with interest. Musks businesses have been a good investment. If Romney had won, Tesla and SpaceX might not exist today. SolarCity on the other hand thrives off federal and state subsidies. But at least they are developing new technologies and they have greatly reduced the cost of solar panels. The have done more then all the other solar companies combined in advancing the technology.
We are going to Mars, so you might as well get used to the idea.
Yeah, highly successful people at the pinnacle of their areas of expertise.
Whoda thunk it?
These globalist Goldman Sachs banker fat cats, big money donors and crony capitalists that you praise are the same people who have bought your politicians for decades. How do you not see this?

Not really. LA Times is a little less severe than I am, but still on the same path. I have no idea why you believe Musk has repaid all debt. Maybe you don't count subsidy as debt - and it isn't. Subsidies are not paid back.

Musk and his companies' investors enjoy most of the financial upside of the government support, while taxpayers shoulder the cost.
People love to believe that we will live on mars someday. But we can't. Mars has no magnetosphere. We may go to visit someday, but we can't stay. Not ever.
Thanks for posting....I'll be canceling my order for a Tesla model S tomorrow.
More likely a used Kia.
With tickets to a Tesla Poison and Def Leopard concert thrown in.
